“Beautiful”
Reviewed 23 June 2014 via mobile

Beautiful views from the overlooks..water color is amazing. Walking to the overlooks is easily done. There are 3 overlooks. The top 2 are great and easy, but the last one's view is ok and quite a walk if you are disabled. There are also some stairs, so this one is out if you are in a wheelchair. The visitor center is basically a store (no bug spray). I would recommend doing the first 2 overlooks, then driving back the way you came in until you see a sign for Miner's Beach....follow the signs and park. It is still hard to see the rocks, but this way you are on the shoreline. If you are disabled, note that there are about 20 stairs at the end of the trail. Sand is super soft. Bring bug spray no matter what you do...lots of mosquitoes.

“Excellent area”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Beautiful area, great boat cruise and great and courteous people take care of you while there. Stayed at marquette as we rented a house facing lake superior and it was a great time. Beautiful sunsets and great time spent at the beach. Definately put sunblock on your face and head as you take the boat tour, as the reflection of the water will definately get. A must visit at least once!

“Beautiful area, a must see!”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

I loved the dunes and cliffs. Very nice drive and overlooks along it. Took several short hikes which were perfect for our 5 year old. I wish the park service ran a boat tour.

“Must see from land and "sea"”
Reviewed 19 June 2014 via mobile

Northern Michigan at its finest. Like any great state treasure, the best is not easiest to access. To see the best of PRNLS you must hike or get on the boat. The scenery here will have you in disbelief that you're still in the state of Michigan. Breathtaking rock formations, waterfalls all set to the backdrop of the amazing Lake Superior. Research what's there ahead of time so you can take advantage of the best sites while you're there.

“Let down...”
Reviewed 18 June 2014 via mobile

After standing in line for a half hour in the sun we finally get on a crowded ship and sail right into fog. Wasn't able to do the boat tour so we turned around and headed back to port for a full refund. Wasted 2.5 precious hours. They stated that only one other tour was successful that day but only after we on the ship and in the fog. Headed home disappointed. Should have told us before we purchased our tickets that it could be possibly canceled.
