Beautiful waterfalls! A beautiful park! There are narriated boat tours that take you close to Pictured Rocks. Take the shorter one. The longer one to Spray Falls it too long!

We loved hiking to the beaches and seeing the amazing rock formations. A beautiful day and experience. Give yourself a few days to hike to everywhere! Definitely worth it!

The best way to see pictured rocks is to get out and hike the trails. You can't see most of the waterfalls from a boat or watch a bear walk across the road in front of your car. Just be prepared so you can enjoy the outdoors more!

We took the boat tour of this awesome shoreline, and I'd absolutely recommend that as the best way to see them. You could probably view a few of the cliff forms by hiking, but ultimately the best vantage point is from Lake Superior. If you know how to kayak, that might also be a fun but strenuous option.

The rock forms reminded me a lot of the Bad Lands, it was kind of surprising to find something like this in Michigan.

Watch out for biting flies (bring bug spray). Cruise was great and had a great time. Wish the tourists would follow the rules set out about standing to take pictures. Staff did not/ would not enforce their own rules. There was almost had a throw down on the top deck because of an insensitive pig.
