“Surprisingly good food! ”

We stopped in before our Pictured Rocks Sunset Cruise. Pleasantly surprised with the pizza and chefs salad. Service was great although food was a bit slow arriving.

Great family run place, we didn't go bowling but it looked like that would have been a good time also! We had nachos and pizza both were delicious, especially the nachos! YUM!

“High-Class Chow: You Don't Have to Bowl”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

This is NOT your stereotypical bowling-alley food. We happened to have a "Superior Supreme" pizza; and it was better, yes, better than that of a successful pizza establishment a block away that we've frequented for years.
We were told that everything was made from scratch and that nothing was canned (!); given how delicious it was, that would be difficult to dispute.
We also had a brisket sandwich (which comes with fries or chips); to us this tasty, marinated brisket is the perfect accompaniment to High Fives' non-standard assortment of very cold draft beers.
If I were there now, I'd be trying the wings, even though I generally don't eat them.
The new owners and their cook(s) obviously care about food and have opinions. The Munising area is not the easiest place in the world to get restaurant food, unless deep-frying is your idea of a good time (and that's not to say that the occasional pasty isn't fun).
Highly recommended: you gotta try this place.

“A suprisingly good pizza!”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

We stopped in for a pizza and got much more than we had expected! We figured we would see ready made pizza given that we were at a bowling alley in town, but NO! It was completely handmade and absolutely delicious. We had the barbeque pizza and some fries, and enjoyed draft beers. What a find! Loved it. Will definitely go back when we visit Munising again.
