Don't miss this waterfall. It is not published as well as some of the others. A hike and a half through rough hills, but so worth it!! This is one of the few falls you can actually get right into. We walked under it, behind it and to the very top of it. Was great that not many visitors were there, made for a more personal attraction. We got some great pics without having to worry about moving out of others way so that they could get pics etc. It is a super tall fall. Almost looks like you are in a cave when you stand at the bottom of it. The entire walk is through tress and amazing rock formations, just a wonderful experience to visit.

“Hidden wonderland”

A wonderful forest to strike out in; follow the many trails--most of them may be unofficial--and the sounds of rushing water to discover the waterfalls. One is still a dramatic beauty; the other is not flowing now but will be powerful in the spring after the snow melt. Both can be walked under or viewed from above the outcroppings. The woods sit between the bay road and a neighborhood, neither of which is visible from within the tree cover. Be prepared to hike--you'll step on and over roots, walk a few rickety planks, and keep close to the rock in places where the fall could be painful. In short: if you have reservations about doing a bit of exploring, pass this by. Otherwise, have fun, watch your step, and enjoy this close-in forest and the mulchy loam underfoot.
