Our experience would have been good no matter what. Nice folks, super accommodating, and good prices. But what set Seaberg apart was their response to bad weather. We'd done the five hour rental, but after an hour on the water (17 miles out...), fog rolled in. Fog like we had never seen, only having boated on much smaller lakes. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get back with gps, since we couldn't see anything. ANYTHING. We were planning to just chalk up the outing to a new experience, but Seaberg immediately offered to only have us pay for three hours that day and offered us three free hours the following morning (we only paid for the fuel we used). They totally went the extra mile, and if I ever make it back to Munising, I will DEFINITELY rent from Seaberg again. Great people and a great experience!!!

Best way to see the pictured rocks and also be able to explore some beaches, especially with a family. Our three teens were not excited about the idea of sitting on the standard narrated cruise for almost three hours (although hubby and I did that ourselves and enjoyed it). But they loved the pontoon! The owners are so friendly, fair, and easy to work with! The price was right, too, for 5 hours of entertainment for our family of five. I priced the competition right down the street, which was more expensive for no reason that I could see. I wouldn't recommend if you're not comfortable operating a boat, but you certainly don't need to be an experienced seaman to handle a pontoon.

We rented two pontoon boats for 16 of us and had a VERY positive experience with the owners. They were wonderful to work with and so accommodating to our circumstances. If you have some boating experience, this is definitely the best way to see Pictured Rocks, and this is an outstanding company to rent from -- we were more than pleased!

Best way to experience Pictured Rocks, and we felt the price was right. I don't know experience level required, but do some tooling around in the bay near the dock if you're not familiar with pontoon boats. Our boat had some issues reversing, but we are very experienced boaters... No big deal for us.

We had the cable fixed and ready to go before the boats went out the next morning! Thank you for your kind words! Hope to see you again in the future!
