Situated near the Central Plaza, the tables are under a veranda surrounding a garden, a lovely relaxing setting to eat. We had dinner there on 22 and 23 April 2014.
The food was superb, as was the wine and cocktails. Along with attentive friendly service, made a lovely night for us (we also think Nicaragua is wonderful).
A meal for two, including a bottle of good wine and 4 cocktails was a bargain at $57
If you are in Leon, you must eat here.
Only one minus - the red wine was served chilled the first night we were there!

Some of the steaks were not that exciting, while other beef options were very tender and amazing. I would recommend this place for sure, especially with the nice courtyard. They were able to accommodate a large group of 13 people. Very afordable

This is a very good option for those meat eaters. Located in an antique Spanish style house, this restaurant offers different options for customers. You can also have some good salads and chicken, but beef is their specialty.

I had the Filet Mignon and shrimp here. The Filet Mignon looked like stir fry beef. It was very thin and had no bacon wrapped around it. It tasted ok and the shrimp and the rest of the meal was good. The service was good and they can speak English fluently. The menu prices do not include tax or tip so I found it to be expensive for Nicaragua. The steak was around $15 ++ and the Pina Colada I had was 3.50 plus tax and tip. I ate in another restaurant in Leon that I like a lot better which I have also reviewed!
