“Really friendly :)”
Reviewed 12 January 2014

We stayed in Hotel Constantin two nights. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and cosy, maybe a bit cold in December but nothing unbearable. Clean bathroom and toilet. The breakfast was basic but good. I really recommend this place if you are on a budget. :)

We stayed here for two nights a week ago, and I have forgotten almost everything about the place! Clearly it cannot have been too bad, and equally clearly it cannot have been very good - ot to put it another way nothing about the place stood out to lift it above the average standard of a small French hotel.

Arrived just before two, to find the hotel locked, and were referred by a notice to a nearly restaurant. After waiting here, we were told that the hotel was now open, and returned to a very friendly reception, a room with shabby bedcovers but otherwise spotless. As noted in a previous review, breakfast was very limited, but otherwise acceptable. Good central location.

We arrived at this hotel very tired after walking 10km in temperatures of over 30 deg C, and were greeted at reception so cheerfully that we immediately felt better.

Our room was bright and clean, with enough room to move around. The bathroom was well laid out, with an over-bath shower.

I was a little disappointed by breakfast, as there was very little choice, although what was provided was good. I asked if any fruit was available and was invited to help myself to an apple, but there was nothing like fruit salad or yoghurt. The croissants were good and my husband (unable to eat bread or oastries) enjoyed the cheese and cold meat.

The hotel is centrally located, with easy walking distance of many restaurants and places of interest in the village. There is free wifi (although we had to ask about this) which worked reliably.

I would happily return to this hotel in future.

Stayed here for two nights, and it was absolutely a very nice place to stay. Situated in the very center of the small and cosy town, Kaysersberg. Decorated in a beautyfull way. Clean as well.
The best part was the staff. Allways smiling. Kind, polite and helpfull all the time.
When you arrived you were told about what to see the town and the surrounding area.
Breakfast was served in a bright and pretty decorated room. Coffee excellent. A place I wish to come back to.

You feel immediately wellcome here. The village and the hotel is a perfect match. The receptionist greets you and explain everything you need to know before handing over the key to the room. The car can be parked below the hotel for 8 eur per day.
Our room was on third floor and the window facing the church Tower. The room (no 17) is cosy and with good size and nice bathroom with tub and shower.
The brekfast room is nicely decorated and offer a fine light breakfast served at the table (8.50 eur). Fine coffee, some ham slices, cheese and jam and fresh juice. Crispy bread.
We enjoyed staying there and the village life is just outside the door.

My room was small and comfortable with an effective fan, great in the warm weather. Good parking in the garage. Breakfast of ham, cheese and an assortment of breads was good, although service was rather slow. The town is beautiful and the hotel is in the very centre. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Wifi free and efficient.
