My best friend and I spent five-and-a-half amazing days at Villa St. Simon, and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations or the high-end hospitality we received. Les, Clarissa, Jules, Thomas and Allison each went out of their way to create for us the perfect holiday. The moment we arrived at the Bordeaux airport baggage claim we were met by Julien, and his outgoing personality and terrific sense of humor entertained us all the way back to the Villa. From that point forward we felt welcomed and pampered. The staff at St. Simon could not have been any more friendly, knowledgeable or accommodating. The French pastry is to die for...made fresh every morning by the local baker. Les and Thomas' wine knowledge is amazing. We learned tons! We are so grateful to our new friends at Villa St. Simon for making our first trip to Bordeaux as special and memorable as it could possible have been.

My partner and I stayed at Villa St Simon for only two nights and two days, but during this time we were so well looked after. Les collected us from the airport and pretty much commenced Villa St Simon's famous wine 'de-bunking' session then and there (making for a very informative and entertaining car trip!). The accommodation was just gorgeous, the selection of wines at the villa spectacular, and Les and Clarissa both wonderful hosts. We learnt a lot about French wines here, particularly about Merlot from the St Emilion trip (special thanks to Thomas!). Our view of Merlot has certainly changed (for the better) from this trip, as we were priviledged to try some exceptional Bordeaux wines. We will definitely be back - no doubt about it.

I give Villa St. Simon my highest rating. Clarissa is an absolute fantastic host. She was able to provide us with a tour of a Chateau which included van transportation, tour guide (Thomas who was excellent), lunch and wine tasting. I would definitely consider staying here if you are in the Bourdeaux area.

Very friendly staff, nice family oriented hotel, great location in a surprising city. Close to vineyards, we recommend St. Emilion tour you can buy at the hotel.
We want to thanks Clarissa for her kindness and Thomas for his wine lessons.
Our best regards from Pilar, Franco and Aldo.
