We stayed during May and felt really welcome by our hosts. Beautiful setting and perfect location for sight seeing. Spacious and spotless rooms liked the coffee machine and fridge in room. Weather was mixed but we made good use of the large private pool and liked the fact we had our own patio area to relax on. Breakfast was ample and brought to our room each morning at our convenience.

Will definitely return and recommend to friends. Big thank you to Andrew & Mel.

If you want the French experience do not go to La Borie Chic. The bedroom and bathroom are very basic especially the beds. Our breakfast was delivered to outside our room and consisted of cold floppy croissants some toasted brioche and a carton of processed mixed fruit in syrup that you buy prepacked from the supermarket.

Room Tip: We had the room with two single beds. Compared to other places we stayed at in the Dordoyne this had...

Wow myself husband and bother and sister in law stayed here for 2 nights in July ! As we pulled up to the property it immediately had the wow factor ! The swimming pool looked so inviting as it was very hot so as soon as we could we were in there ! The two rooms set aside of the main house were just perfect for two couples patio area and bbq area which we made full use of on both evenings Andy and Mel made sure we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble we especially liked the breakfast basket brought to us which we enjoyed on the patio area at whatever time we required . The rooms were very cool and spotlessly clean the shower was large and very good everything you needed was in there tea coffee fridge pool towels and also wifi was a bonus ! This is a must stay place to stay when visiting the Dordoigne area of France thankyou so much Andy & Mel you have got it spot on from THORNTONS & SHORTS Doncaster

Room Tip: only two rooms both excellent

We had 7 nights here and the standard could not have been better. Andy and Mel are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The area is outstanding and this is an excellent base for days out into central Dordoigne. Having breakfast bought to the terrace was a bonus. The swimming pool was clean with plenty of sunbeds and for chuldren there was plenty to do, table tennis and a big trampoline with safety nets. I will definately go back.

My wife and I have just spent 5 nights in this excellent B&B. Andrew and Melanie could not be better hosts, the room was wonderful, quite and cool. And as the temperature climbed into the 30's this was most welcome. Breakfast was served by our hosts in our room and was more than adequate. The swimming pool was very welcome. A splendid location in very quite countryside and only a short walk from the village of Meyrals, which has a couple of restaurants. And a short 10/15 minute drive from Les Eyzies, where there are several restaurants. All in all, La Borie Chic is a joy to stay in.

Room Tip: The place has only 2 rooms, one a double and the other a twin.

My husband and I only spent one night here, but wished it could have been longer. Melanie and Andrew were excellent hosts and seemed very willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation was spacious and included a fridge as well as an outdoor patio and table as well as a very welcome swimming pool. We enjoyed the walk to the local restaurant Merenda, where we had a delicious 4 course meal and ample wine for less than 39 Euros for 2 - with a beautiful view from the balcony thrown in. Our breakfast at La Borie Chic was plentiful too, and I would certainly recommend this B & B to other couples.

This is a lovely property to stay at. The accommodations are completely self contained, with all you need for a comfortable stay and separate from the home, which is lovely after travelling for a while. The property is very well maintained and the pool area is very inviting. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The small town it is situated in is really pretty and you can take a nice walk to get there by a track. This B&B is ideally located to visit the surrounding areas and great to come back to and relax afterwards. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend it without hesitation!
