“Absolutely wonderful”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

If you want complete peace and quiet this is the place to stay. Olivier was the most fabulous host. He went about his daily jobs in the most unobstrusive way. He was around if we needed advice or wanted to ask about the area. He very kindly gave us a map marked with places of interest to visit. The caravan was fabulous in the most spectacular setting. One evening whilst having dinner outside the caravan we saw a deer stroll into the forest. The pool was excellent. Spotlessly clean. We visited many villages on the Dordogne which were beautiful. Food in the restaurants was gorgeous. Customer service everywhere we ate was excellent. We visited before the school holidays begun so not too busy anywhere and were able to get around without any traffic jams.

“Great Vintage Glamping Experience in Perigord (France)”
Reviewed 8 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We loved our stay at Baran! Loved it! The place was luxurious and peaceful!
The airstream Safari 1959 was very comfortable and nicely decorated- clean, simple and cosy. I loved how open it was and was surprised how roomy it felt. You could not find a better view to wake up to. I enjoyed my morning tea in one of the loungers outside and soaked up the morning sun. We had most of our dinners at the airstream and used the grill outside to make some delicious food. Olivier suggested a food market in Saint Cyprien that had amazing fruits, vegetables and food! It was the perfect place to just hang out and relax.

Olivier was incredible host! He tooks such good care of us. Waiting in our airstream was a card and bottle of wine. He treated us as friends, inviting us and talking airstreams with us. We really enjoyed their pace of life and are glad to have much such interesting people!

Perigord has so much to offer, beaches on Dordogne river, walks, beautiful drives and castels, it is close, lots of places to get good food and markets. This vintage Airstream glamping is the perfect home base for exploring the area. We can't wait to go back and visit!

“Lovely private retreat”
Reviewed 4 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Stayed here for four nights in July/August, we were lucky enough to be the only guests, so we had exclusive use of the grounds and pool which were excellent ( clean and tasteful). There are only currently two caravans so it is very private in the grounds. The area is secluded being in the small village of Baran, which is close to the main tourist areas but far enough away to be very quiet and rural. Olivier is a very charming and knowledgable host and speaks good English. Really enjoyed our stay and we were sad to leave. Idyllic.
