On our way to Mont St Michel , we arrived on a hot Sunny day at 1.30 pm we asked for a table outside for 7 but apparently it was not possible even if there were only 2 tables occupied outside , we were seated inside on a long wood table with benches the restaurant in itself looks cute but most of the tables were not reset ! We waited 15 min to have the menus handed rudely by the waitress who was struggling with 3 tables inside. We ordered tartines and Salads which were all very tasty but when i asked for a portion of fries the "chef " (who was wondering around ) rudely replied " it's not going to be possible the kitchen is close " we were shocked that a restaurant closed their kitchen at 2.15 pm during the busy summer period ! After all we were at the Tour de France week ...
After the 3 rd time we asked for the bill which i have to say was the most confusing bill i had ever seen (the dishes we had were not written just random prices with some extra prices written at the end) we were confused the waitress explained to us very briefly adding "is it all clear for you " ?? !
It was a shame cause the food is quite good but due to the catastrophic service we left with a bitter taste .
