Second visit was just as good as first one a year ago. The owner and her son give very good service and the chef is excellent. Everything is presented well and tastes delicious BUT I'd advise booking especially weekend lunch and evenings. The restaurant is small but a real gem.
It is always busy but very calm atmosphere.

Had dinner here on our brief visit to the island and we were really glad that we did. This is a small but very attractive restaurant where we were warmly welcomed by the host who managed to keep everybody happy with her pleasant chatty manner . Service was very good and provided solely by the host supported by her son who tended to the drinks.Food was very good and well presented in an attractive modern manner, the mainstay on the menu was seafood as you would expect .This is a very attractive little restaurant with good service, good food, good atmosphere.Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Oddly this very well established, privately run little place just off the main pedestrianised part of Noirmoutier en l'ile wasn't listed on TA before now, and deserves to be. It was initially a more attractive prospect than the surrounding larger operations, and offers an enticing but small range of menus and carte. But it was deliciously prepared and from good fresh ingredients. Oysters, of course, and a very good scallop cassolette; followed by really expertly cooked sea bass. Desserts were maison, but we didn't indulge. Good list of local and regional wines, low mark-ups, we had a nice Muscadet sur Lie for 15 euros. Service was stretched - I think one of the proprietors was working single handed, but she did well to cope with the nearly-full dining room; she said it was unexpectedly busy for a wednesday lunch time.
