This McDonald's is in desperate need of an update and better management. The vinyl/leather in the booths are beyond their life. They are worn out in many places. We were sitting in the play area. The play area itself is large with a number of activities. There is a unisex bathroom in the play area, which is very nice. However, there is no closing door to keep small children in. If a parent takes their eyes off their children for a quick second, their child could quickly be the main part of the restaurant.
Besides the typical climbing areas with slides, there is a small basketball "court". There is also an air hockey table. However, based on the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant, my guess is they are not cleaning the fort area well. When we arrived all the tables were dirty and in need of cleaning. We had to go to the counter to ask someone to handle it. I will say they came within 5 minutes, but had only one rag to wipe down all the tables, with no rinsing water. They did not clean the seats. :-( The floor also had not been cleaned in awhile. Definitely, cleanliness is not a priority for the management at this McDonald's. :-(
There was an area that had caution tape in the play area. However, it was not your traditional yellow caution tape. It looked like clear packing tape with red marker saying; "caution". There is no way that clear tape would keep out any small child.
The food was typical McDonald's fare. No issues with the food. They did get our order correct, which does not happen often at McDonald's in general.
