We have stayed at this Comfort Inn a number of times. Always clean and comfortable. The breakfast area is very nice and they have a good breakfast with the usual items that are standard at Comfort Inn. Many of the staff have been there for some time and are very personable. While often we stay on the second floor of a motel, here we opt for the first floor on the north end. Is always quite.

They only have four rooms with bathtubs, so you will probably get a walk-in shower; very nice!

My daughter and I stayed there for a scrapbooking weekend. The room was clean and large. We had the king size bed and that was so comfortable! We slept so well! The Breakfast was nice. A decent array of fresh fruit and yogurt along with scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles.
Our last day there, my daughter wasn't feeling very well. We still had a few hours left of scrapbooking and the front desk allowed her to stay in the room to rest; although we were technically checked out. We will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this hotel. The only drawback - no pool.

Room Tip: Let the front desk know what you need, they will do their best to work with you. The earlier you bo...

We stayed for 1 night. There were 5 of us in 2 rooms on the 1st floor. Rooms were nice, very clean, and comfy. We all slept really well. Shower was interesting, size of a bathtub but not a bathtub. It was a stand up shower with 2 built-in seats, and a lip only a few inches off the ground to keep the water in. Perfect for someone with mobility issues who has difficulty getting in and out of a bathtub. Service could've been better. Twice we approached the front desk (upon check-in, and upon returning from dinner) and no one was there, had to shout "hello" to get attention. Delicious free breakfast (standard in all Comfort Inns) w/waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bakery items, cereals, yogurt ect. Good location, walking distance to Cracker Barrel, Applebee's, and Tim Horton's/Cold Stone Creamery. No indoor pool, but since it's the same owner, you can use the indoor pool at the Holiday Inn next door. Apparently there's an indoor access passageway, but the front desk said they didn't have anymore swipe cards that you need to unlock the door. We didn't go because I didn't want to have to get the kids fully dressed to go outside. Better service would've been to send someone over to get more cards.

Room Tip: Breakfast area was pretty busy and noisy, so if you want to sleep in, try to get a room farther away...

Room is nice, clean with fridge and microwave. I had requested a hand held shower which I wich it has more spraying power and setting. The breakfast was very nice. Overall was a very good experience. I will be coming back to the area next week and I will be trying another near by hotel for the simple reason of the shower pressor but it is a very good hotel

Over the last four-five years we have stayed at the Comfort Inn in Okemos a number of times. It is a nice Comfort Inn--not exceptional, but always clean, quite, with a fairly good (but standard Comfort Inn) breakfast and a friendly staff.

Recently we stayed there and had great difficulty the first night with the heat in room 105. Could never get the heat down low enough--even with the thermostate set at the lowest level. Since it was 10 PM and we were ready to bed, I (mistakenly) did not complain. We turned the heat off-but obviously during the night got cold. In addition, when the system was on the fan ran all the time and was very loud--enough to bother a lot of people when they are trying to sleep.

I complained the next morning and was told they would have the maintenance person check it. We were gone all day and when we returned at 8:30 that night we were told that:

1. Room 105 and one room had new systems--they are trying them out.

2. The "new" system turns itself down when no one is in the room, and then powers up when someone returns.

3. But, other than that, the maintenance person did not (and maybe could not) do anything to correct they system.

After being in the room for 10 minutes, it became way too hot. So, at 9 PM the second night we moved to another room where they had not experimented with a new heating syatem. The heat in this room was very good--could adjust it easily and the fan was so quite you hardy knew it was running.

So, beware of the heating system in room 105--and one other room.

Second stay here but first time had 1st floor room. This time took 2nd floor room without realizing there is no elevator and it is 20+ steps up and down. My wife has arthritic knees and we were not told of lack of elevaotr. Room very clean, continental breakfast with variety and free, hotel very quiet. Evening front desk "manager" had the personaliy of a rock and the am person wasn't much more pleasant. Sorry you had to work a weekend!. Reasonably price but will probably not bother their staff again by staying there.

Spent 5 nights recently and enjoyed the stay. The lobby area was very nice and the person at the desk was helpful. We had a king sized bed and the room itself was great. The only thing that I would say was negative about the room itself was that during the day when we were out, we could come back and here was some strange odor. Never did find out what that was but it was there every day. All in all it was very minor thing for our stay. The breakfast was awesome. They had fruit, yogurts, you could make your own waffles, eggs, sausage. It was way more than what we expected. If I was going to be in the area again, I would highly recommend it to someone else.
