This is an awesome, off the beat, experience . You will need 8 to make a reservation and you need that to go. Th location is amazing in the mountain and the Indian style food with Dominican flare. Decor is great. No utensils , no plates, but amazing food served on banana leaves with amazing dips and sauces. You will not be disappointed with this experience what so ever!!

Great food, fun location and wonderful dining experience. Great fun to go with friends and share a meal in a circle with other diners. Highly recommended.

This was so much fun. Call and make a reservation, I think they do minimum of 8 people to even open (if you're fewer they might just put you in with another group). After ordering a drink and stepping into the tent where the food is served, the night became better and better for each minute. The hosts are really friendly (and are english speaking), and they will go through every meal explaining what you're about to eat. There is a lot of food, so come with an empty stomach. As I understand it the meals change from day to day, there is a flat rate for eating, and you go through the entire menu. I think it's around 20 dollars pr person, and then you pay for whatever you'd like to drink.

You need to make a reservation for 6 or more. The Blue Moon is an experience that you won't forget! The Indian/Caribbean fusion food is served sitting on the floor cushions and sans utensis or plates. Trust me, it's very cool and worth the 45 minute drive from Cabarete up into the mountains. The food is plentiful and delicious and the host could not be more friendly and engaging.

Get there before sunset so that you can enjoy the beautiful views from the mountains!
