Staff was great. Place is new and very fancy for a Hampton Inn. Coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times was nice. Breakfast was average but nice selection. Lounge and eating area was very nice but the best was the friendly customer service. Will definitely stay there again.

We booked our reservation via our high school AD as previous athletes stayed here. Just opened in September 2011 and every aspect of our stay was enjoyable and far exceeded any expectations we may have had. From the moment our charter bus arrived we were greeted and made welcomed, which isn't an easy task with 38 baseball players, parents and coaches! The manager, Susan D Howard (I took a business card :) and her staff were accomodating and efficient. The rooms were one of the nicest I've stayed in and comparison to $200.00 + a night rooms. The linens, the beds, mattress, were of higher end quality and the rooms were clean and spacious. The management ensured every guest of their hotel were held accountable for noise levels and inconveniences and stressed that to each of us. I was impressed on this factor, as the previous weekend held an untolerable noise level at a hotel in Neenah, Wisconsin. The lobby and breakfast area were by far more spacious then any hotel I've seen in past experiences. The seating area is large enough and comfortable to host gatherings in the evening and for the breakfast hours.....the food was of a higher quality than most breakfast items you receive with a hotel stay. I cannot say enough about this facility and only hope we will have an occassion to frequent again in the near future. The Manager went above and beyond to even extend a helpful gesture at a local chain restaurant we visited for dinner when they were having difficulty seating 38 of us. She offered her assistance and that spoke volumes as she was off-duty and no longer needed to accomodate our stay as guests of her hotel. Bravo to the staff !!!

I travel all the time for business and regularly stay in Hampton Inn's across the country. I am not super picky and almost NEVER complain or ask to be moved unless something is seriously wrong. I was anxious for this new hotel to open in Saginaw and gave them a few months before trying them out. When I arrived I was told I had a first floor room across from the pool. (My profile request a quiet room away from elevators, pools, etc. as I frequently have to make conference calls and conduct business from my room.) When I asked the desk attendant very nicely about a room change and explained the reason why as I had a meeting that night, he acted put-out and inconvenienced and if I was inconveniencing him! Further, the prices are exorbitantly high for the area, the breakfast fruit had a horrible taste, and the walls are incredibly thin. It certainly was not the level of quality and customer service that the Hilton family of hotels certainly delivers.

As you can see in our other reviews on Tripadvisor, that is certainly not the norm for our staff. Our staff is trained to review the profiles of our HHonors guests and accommodate their needs and requests on a daily basis and we are deeply sorry that we weren't able to keep your room off of the first floor.

Great new hotel in Saginaw, MI. Very clean and bright with good sized room and flat screen tv. I had king studio. Nice breakfast room. Breakfast is average but they do have protein options like boiled eggs as well as options to make your own hot waffles, yogurt, etc. Location is great - right next to a mall! Would definitely stay here again.

I was at the hampton inn of saginaw the weekend of the february 11 - 13, 2012. I enjoyed every bit of it. Its really nice when you have the manager sweeping off the snow of the cars to shoveling the snow to make a path in parking lot. The staff are very nice and understand even accommodated. They even accommodated people stranded off the expressway during a wild snow storm.

We stayed here during a snow storm, and had not antipated the stay. The staff was wonderful. They have snowscrapers & umbrellas at the door if you forget yours, and will even clean off your car if requested. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection, more than the last several Hampton Inns at which we have stayed.
The room was excellent as would be expected from a new hotel. Flat screen TV was nice, but could use better picture quality on a few channels (not sure why some were fuzzy).
We have stayed at most if not all of the major hotels in the area while traveling with kids' soccer teams, and this one is the best. Overall, a perfect stay & highly recommended.
