Based on Tripadvisor reviews, I wanted to stop in to the museum on way to Mackinaw City. What was initially intended as a way to spend a few hours on the way northward through Michigan became one of the highlights of our trip.
Outside the museum are many of the sculptures. Inside are numerous plaster models used in creating finished sculptures, as well as items from Fredericks studio arranged as he worked back in the day.
Saginaw Valley State University grounds are quite beautiful as well. A peaceful setting.
