Very clean and bright but the beds are very uncomfortable and the sheets do not fit well. We complained and got better sheets and the mattress was changed, but it was still uncomfortable. The mattress seemed old fashioned and thinner than most new mattresses...Otherwise, the hotel was nice and the staff very friendly.

I got a two bedroom suite for my friend's bachelorette party on a Saturday night. We were amazed at how the room was stocked with real plates, silverware, glasses, even a strainer and cutting board! Also, there was a dishwasher and they even left dish soap and diswasher detergent under the sink. It seems that every detail was thought of! I called down to the front desk to see if they had DVD players available for rent and they lent us one free of charge. The girl at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was a great space with two bedrooms, each with their own TV, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living area. We had more than ten people in the room at times and it did not feel cramped even with several girls trying to get ready at once. The beds were very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that has a group that needs a little extra space for their getaway!

We opened the door of our two bedroom room and were very satisfied that we made the right choice. The room was perfect for the 4 of us. Room had a full kitchen and 2 baths. After driving we were more than happy to settle in for the night. We also made use of the pool which is smallish but adequate. Breakfast is above average with quite a few hot and cold selections including waffles. Front desk staff responded quickly when we needed extra sheets. Beds were comfortable and I slept well. The one improvement I would make is to have someone staffing the front desk. They tend to sit in the back room. This isn't a huge deal but I'm always used to seeing staff at the front desk. All in all the stay was excellent. Room was clean and sleep was good. That is all I want from a hotel. A quiet sleep.

So I've been staying here off and on for the past two years (when I feel like I need a kitchen to cook for those long work assignments), and its been good for me so far, but there are some annoyances.

The Bad:

1. They charge $5 total per load which includes: washer and dryer and for each packet of detergent + fabric softener. (The hotel across the street provides this all for free).

2. The furniture is outdated. Just feels old. The sofa in my room has a stain on it... kinda looks like a dog peed on it or someone dropped a drink.

3. The people at the front desk, are sometimes in the back room chatting and folding linens and I had to wait several minutes each time for anyone to appear up front.

The Good:

1. Good service, most of the time.

2. The Manager is awesome. She will ask you what kind of food you like to eat, and then makes fresh dinner 2-3 times a week for free. Not to mention she is super sweet and caring.

3. Kitchen included (hence a Residence Inn).

4. Cleaning Crew washes your dishes daily! wow!

5. Full dinnerware and silverware as well as cookware. No need to buy any spoons, dishes, pots or cooking utensils.

Room Tip: If you want a larger 2 bedroom which is quiet, always choose the 2nd or 3rd floor corner rooms endin...

I needed overnight space where my girlfriend and could stay along with her teen daughter. We needed two rooms or a suite. I didn't want to spend more than $200 for the night so my choices were limited. Residence Inn sold us a 2 bedroom suite with a living-dining-kitchen for about $190 with tax. The A/C worked well without making excessive noise and the breakfast was average or better. Check-in and out was seamless and parking ws easy and included. Wireless worked OK but not fast enough for Netflix. Not to worry, TV (3 of them) worked fine. Everything was smokefree and no bad odors. No bugs. Plumbing worked. Overall, nothing to complain about. No reason to look anywhere erlse. Way to go.

Very good hotel, despite too many options in the region. Large rooms, confy beds, clean, very polite staff, good location, close to many restaurants and shopping options. This hotel is a really good choice for business and pleasure.

A great value for overnight or long-term stays, SAginaw's RESIDENCE INN remains one of the more difficult hotels to actually find an available room........generously-sized with all the conforts of home, including a kitchenette...the rooms are well-kept and offer good bedding and quiet nights....

Room Tip: avois rooms near stairwells which can be noisy until late at night
