“Great view, friendly service, and good food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 May 2014

The food was very good, especially for Mexican food in the U.P! The view is amazing and Mackinac Island is easy to see. Had the Flan for dessert and that was very good. My fish tacos were also very good.

“Just skip it!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. After 30 mins and several trips up to the hostess, no one had ever come to our table. We finally walked out. A couple days later we thought we would give it another try. We took the kids for lunch. We were the only table. The waitress acted like we were an annoyance. On top of that, the food was just okay. There was nothing special about it... Tastes like frozen food that has been heated up. Definitely do not recommend!

“Great improvement on the food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2013

We love Joe and his wife Sandy. This place has certainly improved since he first opened it. I loved the sweet potato burrito! And the chips and salsa were very tasty.

“Not good”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

Came here based on some of the good reviews from the "other review site", man, was it a mistake. Ordered shrimp wet burrito, it was ok, Rice tasted just like Rice A Roni. My son had tacos, they were OK. Hubby ordered carne asada, it had gravy on top and served with broccoli, it was hilarious! Will not recommend.

“Vegetarian-Friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 September 2013

We stopped here on our way to and from Marquette in the U.P. All burritos can be made vegetarian and I highly recommend that anyone, vegetarian or not, get the Soyrizo or whatever the name of their veggie meat substitute is. My husband, who is not a vegetarian, got it in his quesadillas and they were AWESOME.

On the other hand, if you are a vegan, look out. You can't just say "no cheese". I said that and got no cheese on top, but they still put cheese inside my burrito. Make it clear that you're vegan and say "no cheese sauce or cheese inside."

Guacamole is fabulous. Loved the chips & salsa. Can't beat the view of Mackinaw Island!
