On our way to Kineton today, saw the pub and decided to get lunch. 1 Ham sandwich and 1 Tuna and Mayo sandwich, one pot of tea and a pint of lemonade - approx £14. Fine, except that the sandwiches consisted of 2 slices of bread (each), which were tiny and dry and the ham and tuna mayo were sparse. Side salad was okay, one slice of red onion, grated carrot, lettuce and tomato (no dressing that we could taste). The service was lovely and surroundings equally so but the food left a lot to be desired, sorry

Visited the Queens Head for evening meal. The service was very bad. The food was served cold and was very poor. All in all it was not a pleasant experience. I will never be going back. Think twice before you go here there are far better places to eat.

We spent the evening here with friends we had very good service the meals were hot and very good portions. We all enjoyed our chosen meal.

Eaten here on several occasions and always been very happy with the service and the quality of the food. I am one to complain if something is not right but I have never had cause to at the Queens Head.

We arrived rather late for weekday lunch having found that the nearby rather posh hotel didn't do lunches!

Although the restaurant was still busy the drinks order was taken promptly and the the wait for service was acceptable.

My soup (in a round bowl) was excellent as was the poached salmon salad. The fish was moist and flaky with the salad lightly dressed with vinaigrette. My wife's meal was equally excellent.

The down side? This pub fell short of excellent only because of the "packed in" tables leading to a distinct feeling of crowding. Otherwise and good experience.
