“Fascinating and fun for all ages”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2013

This charming little museum is packed with exhibits depicting life in the Cambridgeshire Fens over the centuries. There's a wonderful mix of farm machinery and implements, household items, and reconstructed chemist's and bootmender's shops, a schoolroom, displays dedicated to the armed forces, police and fire services, and much much more. A recently completed project is the rebuilding of Fen Cottage, with rooms furnished in 1940's style.

There's also a Tea Room serving light refreshments, a Book Barn with hundreds of second-hand books and bric-a-brac for sale, and the museum has a large local archive for research purposes.

Plenty of free parking, picnic area.

Highly recommended museum for all ages.
