We went hear on the recommendation of our hotel and were not disappointed. They were introducing a new menu. Note: The vegetarian options were limited. We started with the plantains with avocado salsa and it was delish! The boyfriend had the seafood linguini ( which was squid ink linguini, seafood meatballs, and roasted artichokes served with toasted garlic bread.). The portion was large and my BF ate the whole thing. I ordered the intercontinental salad which is their version of the Caesar salad with extra veggies like carrot, red onion, bell pepper). The salad was so good that the boyfriend ate every scrap of lettuce that I did not consume. We were too full for dessert. So we enjoyed the summer breeze on the patio while finishing our drinks and listening to reggae. This is a great eatery in town that is fair priced and located just a block from the main downtown and walking distance from most hotels. There is amble street parking and a lot across the street.

Have only tried their pork and chicken - both were creatively prepared with wonderful spices and flavors. I am a local and will return often for the great food, atmosphere and service!

I have been going to Saugatuck for years and this restaurant has by far got the best food in town! Perhaps I should say TOWNS..because nearby Holland doesn't come close to matching them either! The atmosphere is relaxed..and I have been there several times, with different types of groups and have never gotten anything but excellent service! Whether you are a local or visiting from out of town..do yourself a favor while in Saugatuck and stop at The White House!

New ownership seems to be finding their groove. Attentive on a busy Saturday evening as soon as we walked in the door and stayed on point the entire evening. Wife had mussels and they were very nice with a unique twist of hot Italian sausage added into traditional mussels. Very good. easy to recommend for a fun twist on traditional style. Mahi special was very good as well. Cocktails were well made also.We will go again based on this recent visit. Atmosphere is semi casual and relaxing. Band played around 9 pm and we stuck around for some music and laughs.

New ownership/management, new atmosphere, new decor and new menu. Used to be a fun place to go to; funky decor, good bands on weekends, always packed, good drinks and reasonably priced mediocre food. Updated decor is nice but just not the same. Never know what time the band will start, very inconsistent and food is still mediocre but now it costs more.
