On a Holiday weekend during a community parade, our group made it across the main street and after a few blocks we came upon Hercules. A couple of people were coming out of the restaurant and said, "good food". We made our choice to eat there and were led to a walled and shrub enclosed garden seating area. The ambiance was very nice and encouraged me to excuse a few short-comings of the server. We ordered the hummus as an hors drovers' and although we depleted the pita we were not asked if me wanted it replenished. Hercules provides options for carnivores and vegans which was appreciated. The food was good but not great. At a Greek restaurant I expect to order Saganaki and mixed olives as appetizers as well as hummus. The server had no knowledge of Saganaki. The group enjoyed the meal and atmosphere but service is a problem as well as the inclusion of additional Greek food items to the menu.
