We enjoyed the stay even though the weather really didn't cooperate with us. Pros and cons to this hotel. It is on Beach side so when you want to to something in town you must cross the river via ferry. Really not a big deal as long as your not staying late. They do have a bus shuttle you can call and get a ride for a dollar also that ran till 11pm. Positive is you can walk to the beach if you don't mind the hike.
We stayed in the suite on the water and it was nice. Like I said the weather was terrible so it kinda dampened the mood somewhat. You can walk out on the deck from your room and sit right on the water. The ship n shore is right on the other side and that is the party place for the weekend so be prepared for noise late night if your staying on the water and its the weekend. The room was nice and we would stay again. Only complaint I have is the bed is very hard. I ended up sleeping on the sofa the last night because my back hurt so bad. Also I think they could do better for morning breakfast stuff besides powdered donuts out of the bag poured into a bowl. It would be so easy to set up a few nice things for breakfast.
