This was my first time in Saugatuck. This hotel is located on other side of the river...walking distance to Mount Baldhead Park, 2 min walk to ferry which takes you downtown, and 5mis drive to Oval Beach. We had family room #4. King bed a,d 2 twin beds plus sofa. Room was very clean so was bathroom. They don't serve typical breakfast but coffee, tea, some fruit, mini donuts and some sweet bread.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Very comfortable, clean and convenient. Very friendly & helpful staff. Down the street from Oval Beach, Mt. Baldhead and across the street from the Saugatuck Chain Ferry. What's not to like!

My sister and I stayed here for three nights during the scorching hot 100 degree days. The pool is great, the rooms are clean and up to date and cozy.

I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to be close to Downtown Saugatuck but still tucked away.

The Beach is a little slice of heaven.

Room Tip: We stayed in the economy twin room, it was small but enough room for the two of us. Super clean and the shower was great.

We had a great holiday from the UK starting in Chicago and round the Lake Michigan loop. Saugatuck was our favourite stop and we fell in love with the Beachway. We had a family room - all in together, but surprisingly successful given that we had our teenage daughter with us ! There were plenty of spots outside to lounge, sit in a sofa, or at a table. We had our breakfast on the terrace; coffee supplied, as it was all day, and peaches we picked off the tree at Cranes in local Fenville. Supermarket half a mile away for supplies and fridge in room. Enjoyed a swim after a run each morning, but beware it is hilly to the beach. Very walkable though. The chain link ferry only ran one day of our stay sadly as it was fun and hooked us up to the town. Otherwise for us it was take the car round as hub was a willing driver, and parking was easy and free. There is a shuttle bus too. We loved oval beach and Mt Baldy, took a dunes ride and generally had a lovely time. Didn't see anywhere I would rather have stayed in Saugatuck.

This was our first time in Saugatuck, and happened upon this hotel via Trip Advisor. It's pretty cute and charming. The staff was incredibly friendly and proud of their hotel. We stayed in a very small room right off the lobby. The room was tiny, but very comfortable and updated. The bathroom was updated as well. Being in the room felt more like we were in a guest room in someone's house compared to a hotel (plus high end toiletries). The hotel is walking distance from the Ferry and the steps up to Mt. Baldhead. The hotel also boasts that it is the closest hotel to the beach...and is walking distance to the beach. This is technically true, but be prepared that the walk to the beach isn't like a walk down the street. It's actually up a windy road with no shoulder and takes about 20 mins. Wouldn't recommend this with children...would be dangerous! This hotel is not walking distance from downtown. The ferry gets you there quickly (when it's running and it does stop at 9p daily) and a car can get you there quickly as well, but don't plan on walking back to the hotel from downtown unless you have on good running or walking shoes (no stilettos).

The pool area was fun and there is great outdoor seating all around the hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here and I'd definitely go back!
