We stayed at Wickwood 28 years ago for our honeymoon. I decided to surprise my husband with a weekend get away to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The inn is quainte as we remembered and the breakfasts were good. We weren't at the inn during the hors d'oeuvres time. The rooms are very expensive. We could have gone to Chicago for 3 or 4 nights at a decent place for what we paid for 2 nights at Wickwood. I think some of the other inns in town might be more reasonably priced.
