Our visit to this HI Express was in mid June, in the middle of tourist season. The location is across the street from the entrance road to the Canadian border.
The room included a flat-screen TV with a good selection of cable television channels, coffee pot, fridge and separate bathroom. Bed, linens and shower head were all standard HI Express.
Breakfast on Saturday morning was crowded, but the staff was able to restock with no issues. Selection was the standard hot breakfast items for HI express as well as yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, and milk. I would recommend getting to the breakfast area early to get a table.
Overall, the price was a bit higher for a HI Express, but due to the time of year and location, was expected.
Other than a nearby gas station, there are no stores or restaurants within walking distance.More
