We camp every July with a group of close friends, and every year we try a new Michigan State Park campground. Warren Dunes was a bit of a letdown compared to many we've visited. The sites were a bit smaller and more open, the bathrooms less clean, and the whole park had a more "used" and urban feel. You could tell the beach bath houses must have been a sight to see in their prime, but are now just a sad reminder of Michigan's failing economy. The dunes and trails are nice. The entrance had a peculiarly long wait.
