I realize that golfers won't believe that there's anything that's more than golf, but this restaurant is well worth a visit just for the restaurant. This was only our first night in South Haven and we based our decision on where to have dinner on the positive reviews by Tripadvisor. There are six in our family, all adults. Among the entrees ordered were the seared chicken, the trout, salmon, and the scallops. Everyone raved about the food-and, by the way, the superior service. Our server knew the menu and was helpful in answering questions and making selections, while not hovering about. The restaurant was something of a surprise. It's sort of what you think about when you hear of a good restaurant in a strip mall-it frequently doesn't pan out. None of us are golfers, so we weren't sure of a restaurant at a golf club, but it really is excellent and the facility is inviting and quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The food is well prepared and presented. The wine list, while a little limited has several that are excellent with the menu and are reasonably priced. When we first sat down at our table, there was a draft from the vent located in the floor. The hostess immediately recognized our problem and got something to cover the vent and took care of the problem. We were also impressed that the manager took the time and effort to respond to the reviews.
