Very nice little wine bar. Had some trouble opening but now it is a dont miss for a relaxing glass of wine. Owners nice as many small places in South Haven they may be serving your drinks. Nicely decorated and set up for conversation!

It’s so nice to finally have a wine bar in South Haven. The servers are knowledgeable about the wine selection, and they have some wines from Michigan. I looked at the menu online before we went, and it was different from the wine bar menu. They informed me that their wine list changes monthly, and sometimes weekly. I chose a local wine, and they even showed me a book of Michigan wineries that described the vineyard. There is a small menu of nibbles. But I don’t think that spiced mixed nuts should be a menu item. I also think they would profit from selling some chocolates, especially locally produced, and suggest wine pairings. I would definitely order one or two while enjoying my wine. Also, if there was seating outside, this place would be even better ! But they are not allowed to serve alcohol outside, so those tables and chairs you see outside the door are empty for a reason ! The décor is very nice, classy, and comfortable, and the piped-in music playing is enjoyable. The servers are great too.

Needed to grab a quick lunch. Found the perfect spot, new secret to most. The Channel Wine Bar serves light, healthy lunches. Many people do not know this, so there is not a wait!! You can see how great it was from the pic I posted!! Fresh, innovative. You can also sit outside. Bravo!
