Good for: Groups, Child-friendly
Dining options: Dinner, Lunch
Description: The Amicarelli family has been serving up our hand made Italian dishes from the "old country" for over 50 years at our various locations around Southwest Michigan. The Vineyard restaurant is located in a 150 year old church. Instead of going to a "chain" restaurant and getting microwaved frozen meals and weeks old pizza crust, come to The Vineyard and taste REAL, FRESH food for the same or less money!

Like many resort restaurants this needs some TLC from the owners. Food is good and fairly priced. Service is pleasant but needs supervision.
With a few dollars spent on basics and some training for the staff, this would be a winner.
Worth a visit though but don't expect too much.

Thank Ted C

First time diner at Vineyard. Was a little surprised the facility is so dated. Looks like the furniture is out of an old bowling alley. Formica tables and vinyl covered chairs/benches. We arrived around 5pm on a weekend. Service was prompt. Waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. My wife had a steak and I had chicken parmesan. Both were good and large portions. We'll go back.

Don't expect amazing service or food. Just order the pizza and one of the few drafts (who server didn't even know the names of) eat and get out. Even the garlic cheese bread and cheese sticks were blah.

I have never had an amazing meal in South Haven.... too bad, because the downtown area is gorgeous and love the beach!

In the area with friends and we felt like pizza, a local suggested Vineyard. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and salads, more than enough food and very good service. This seems like a nice family restaurant with good food.

We have been vacationing in South Haven, MI for 7 years and every year we dine at The Vineyard....what a horrible experience this year! I understand off nights, but many of the employees were just down right rude! The only 2 items on the menu worth eating are pizza and garlic bread, I would recommend carry out if you can get someone to take your order!
Otherwise overpriced and less than average cuisine!
