Had the fish fry at Wheeler's Restaurant last Wednesday night. Very ample portions and nice light batter and not overcooked. This is a local restaurant that has been around for many years and the owners keep the 50's theme for the many travelers that have come here through generations. They also have a very nice salad bar and homemade soups that go along with the meals. I eat here frequently and they have a lot of lunch and dinner specials that also are very good. We enjoy a local restaurant for the different and home cooked options instead of the chain offerings. And we also enjoy the company of the locals that frequent here.

Great breakfast with big, large eggs, good strips of bacon with very good flavor. Pile of hash browns that were excellent with the right mix of crispy and well cooked parts. Toast is standard, but served its purpose well. Price is a little high but acceptable given the amounts and quality

Found this place trsvelling south from other reviews and we decided to try it. It has great old time atmosphere and it is the spot for the local families. Very small town and family frriendly. Waittress was friendly, cheerful and efficient. Service was fairly prompt. Atmosphere was fifties and Marilyn Monroe. Food was ample and tasty and modestly priced. Would visit again.

When time allows traveling north, a stop at Wheelers is a must. This spring it was for breakfast and memories. As usual the food is great and good coffee too!
But the memories are what keeps me coming back. As a senior now, I reflect back to when I had meals with my parents when we too were traveling north. Long before I-75 even existed, this was the route and Wheelers was our stop!
Can you imagine, putting a coin in the jutebox from your table as it is located on the wall of your booth. The photographs on the walls are so historic and the decor reflects 1930. Its the place for locals and tourist alike. Treat yourself to this one of a kind venue and enjoy the homemade meals and cozy ambience.
