Owner description: A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever the weather. You can meet and feed the animals, explore the outdoor Funfield and have fun in the huge indoor play area. Meet a host of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. In the spring and summer you can also bottle feed our lambs. You can cuddle a rabbit or guinea pig and see our more unusual animals such as alpaca, reindeer and chipmunks. We also have daily animal activities including pony grooming, milking demonstrations and egg collecting. The huge Funfield features a range of have a go activities including Go-Karts, assault course, mini golf, jumping pillow and in the summer the Water Splash Out. Why not take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and look out for the scarecrows? The 3000m² indoor playbarn features a huge soft play area with demon drop slides. There's an under 5's area with a ball pit and giant Lego construction zone. Enjoy eating out or picnicking at one of our landscaped areas on sunny days, or in our airy 120-seat restaurant. In the summer, the Farm is home to a huge 10 acre maize maze. So take on the challenge of 3 miles of pathways, bridges and viewing towers.

Am always sceptical about these farms, thinking it would end up being a lonely ageing goat and a half deflated bouncy castle ! This place it is definately not. I got talking to the gardener (he managed to harvest a right angled cucumber !! ) who told me the "history" of the farm (dairy farm not financially viable in the end, family took chance of turning into this park).....and very well done to you I must say.You took that chance and it is paying off. It's a well thought out attraction with enough to keep my 7 & 5 yr olds happy for what was at least a good 5 hours.Food and drink prices are more than reasonable. The restaurant was packed on a Thursday lunchtime and the waitresses work tirelessly serving food. You have good staff there adventurefarm...take note.
Enough animals to see and stroke etc.Tractor rides entertaining enough for the kids as was the bouncy items/play areas etc.More than sufficient parking for cars and it's FREE !!! Toilets very clean as was the whole farm.Sufficient picnic benches to take a break for food/coffee.The maize maze takes a long time and i know it's the point, but it is easy to get lost (staff available to help if/when you need assistance). It probably takes an hour I reckon.
All in all ,well worth a visit and we'd deffo return if in the area again.
Adventure farm ...... how about doing cream teas ? selling clotted cream/milk ? (if able) from them Jersey cows of yours and i reckon a fishing pond/small lake (for serious anglers) somewhere on the farm would be a good revenue source.
I wish you all the very best in your adventure farm. You have got a good thing going here.

Took my children here and there about 5 hours. Played outdoors quite a lot (think the jumping pillows were great!), played mini golf (£1 extra), made a scarecrow for the challenge, went on the indoors play place and spent about 90 minutes in the maze. The scarecrow trying to give directions was hilarious and definitely in character with his voice!
Overall a good day out and worth the admission price for a full day out.

Visited with my 5 year old son and had a fantastic day. Started with the outdoor stuff - bouncy pillow, crazy golf, sand pit, barrel ride, frisbee golf, veg patch etc, then ventured indoors. Wow!!! What a fantastic indoor play area. Managed to drag him away to see the animals and he was thrilled to stroke and feed the guinea pigs. We went on to feed the bigger animals and thought they all looked well cared for with plenty of room to run around. We tackled the maize maze which I was very concerned I'd get lost in! But a Bit of help from a hilarious scarecrow with a microphone made our day. But the overall thing that struck me was just how helpful and friendly all the staff were. What a difference that makes. We stayed all day and wore my son out completely. Will definitely be back soon for a visit. My husband can't wait to try it out!

We went for the day as a birthday day out. We have 2 boys (6&2) who were so overwhelmed that they didn't know what they wanted to do first! We took a picnic, the weather was scattered showers all day but there is plenty to do inside and out. There are undercover picnic areas and a restaurant with the most superb indoor soft play we have ever seen! We petted and fed guinea pigs, had a tractor ride, rode on a barrel ride as well as all the other outdoor play activities. The separate bouncing pillow for the smaller kids is a good idea.
Will definitely be coming again soon!

12 months ago we had a very disappointing few hours at Conkers and we tried to find somewhere else to go that was local. We drove to the Adventure Farm but the heavens opened as soon as we parked the car and we could see people running indoors for cover, so we put it on the places to go list. It was well worth the wait and going with nicer weather helped with being able to use all the facilities. We arrived at 10.15am and left at 5.15pm!!!!! What an amazing place for everyone to enjoy. We made our own scarecrow for the world record attempt (Number 2736) all for £1!!! We had a game of get as lost as you can for 1 hour in the Maize maze which being themed on a Julia Donaldson book was amazing to our kids. We played crazy golf, bouncy slide and the jumping pillows. We watched the hilarous pig race which was brilliant. Frisbee golf is a great idea. The indoor area is great fun and i even enjoyed being able to go on the slides with them too. All of your staff are so helpful and enthusiastic which added some extra magic to the day. Thank you very much for some great memories and we will be back next year...
