We visited this wonderful resort because we are considering it for a wedding location. What a beautiful place. It is perfect for a wedding, but especially for any family get togethers. There are so many activities including golf, skiiing, sledding, paintball, swimming, children's activities and much more. There is a first class spa and both upscale and casual dining.

We stayed in a suite at the Inn but there are numerous choices for sleeping from hotel rooms to 5 bedroom condos. Our suite was spacious with a kit henette, small sitting room, separate bedroom and even our own little porch. We viewed the 3 bedroom cottages and they are awesome...perfect for a family vacation.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff is welcoming and willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable. Don't miss staying here for any reason or no reason at all.

Room Tip: If staying at the Inn, choose the second floor for better views.

This is a super clean beautiful resort. I was there with my family for a wedding that was held there in early May, 2012. In between seasons, so the outdoor activities weren't open yet, but the kids (11,13,15) still had things to do. They swam in the indoor pool, and played some board games that were available at the Park. DVD player in the room also, so they were able to watch some DVD's that we brought with us. The golf course looked nice, although I don't play. Staff was super friendly. Kids had subs at the Little Tomato Bistro & they said they were excellent. The food served at the wedding reception was delicious, although the steak was a little dry. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were wonderful, as well as the salmon.

Room Tip: Our suite at the Inn was very nice. 2nd floor at the back so it was a quick walk from the reception...

I stayed at Crystal Mountain Resort for a 2 day conference in early May. The service was wonderful, all of the staff was very friendly and attentive. It was shoulder season so the resort was not very crowded. I especially enjoyed the lap pool and I had it all to myself :-)

The Thistle Pub had a good selection of local micro brews and the food was spectacular as was the service.

Crystal Mountain has made some very nice improvements since the last time I was there about 5 years ago.

My husband and I enjoy a birthday weekend away at Crystal. The accomodations at the Mountain Inn were perfect. The king size bed was comfortable and the oversized whirlpool bath was divine. If you stay, we strongly recommend eating at the Thistle Pub and Wild Tomato. Service was good, Food was outstanding, especially at the Wild Tomato. This trip we didn't golf or ski but kicked back and enjoyed the grounds and scenery. We saw several deer on the property and enjoyed walking though the art park. The weekend rejuvenated us. Crystal was exactly what we needed.

There are four of us that make the 35 minute drive to Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa twice a year..treating ourselves to a full day of treatments and an overnight in a beautiful 3 bedroom condo. The resort is spectacular, the grounds are spectacular, the condo is spectacular..but the crowning jewel for us is the spa. The moment you walk in you are greeted by the wonderful front desk staff..Lakata & Corena ( forgive me if the spelling is not correct ) they both go so far out of their way to make everything perfect & so helpful. If you are wanting a treatment of a lifetime try the Evergreen with Tara..OMG !! It was perfect. Thank you Crystal Mnt. for providing such an outstanding adventure for the four of us to experience twice a year.

I enjoyed a ski weekend at Crystal with a couple friends in January. We stayed in the Crystal Colony rooms. It was just what we needed and not much more. Certainly was clean, well furnished with 2 queen beds, table and chairs, kitchenette, large TV, and full bath (with jetted tub). I appreciated the 2 vanities for getting ready. There was a nice tiled area upon entering the room to leave wet ski boots and shoes. There wasn't much view on the ground level and I would HIGHLY recommend getting an upper floor room if you don't mind a few stairs to avoid the noise of guests above you slamming their ski boots on the floor. Also ask for a room facing the lifts rather than the parking lot. I really like the ski locker located at the far end of the hotel that was opened by our room key. The price was more than I would usually pay for this type of room but consifering it's at a ski resort it's more acceptable. In the future however, I would probably try to get into the Hamlet rooms as they are more centrally located.

Room Tip: Upper floor room, ask for a corner room and one with a fireplace if available. The ski locker is loc...

We arrived at Crystal Mountain in the middle of a blizzard on March 2nd. Our cottage (Juniper) was perfect in every way, layout, w/d, baths, fireplace, kitchen. I truly cannot complain. We shared the cabin with another family, 7 kids in all and all fit comfortably. Over 16 inches of snow fell Friday night, power outage at 1:00am. The resort handled it all so well. When power was restored at 9:00 the next morning (whole region was out), they had the lifts up and running by 11:00. It was a remarkable feat. We ate at the pizza place Friday night which was average but ate at the Thistle Saturday night. Food and ambience were good; I highly recommend making a reservation there in advance. I cannot say enough about the employees. They all were so happy and went out of their way to be helpful. We will definitely return!
