The location is great. The price couldn't be beat. The water pressure in the shower is very nice. However, the bed is a bit high and very hard. The room was a little warm. Also, when I moved the nightstand to reach an outlet, I found potato chips and what appeared to be ashes. Apparently moving the furniture to clean isn't a normal thing. Obviously, the room could use some deep cleaning.

Room Tip: Request clean bedding including the bedspread when you arrive. They outer covering isn't changed...

I have stayed here couple of times and I like this hotel.
Its not very expensive and very close to the Traverse City downtown area.

Its a decent hotel with decent rooms, nothing extra special but has clean rooms, clean linens and towels and good breakfast in the morning.

Overall a good deal for the price.

What a lovely place to stay. We stayed two nights and the hospitality was wonderful. The man who greated us, Dennis, I believe was a delight. He signed us in quickly with our online reservation. Everything was just as they said. The next morning we went to the free breakfast and I had toast peanut butter and yogurt with delicious fresh hot coffee. We were pleasantly greated by Beth and Michelle, both mornings. They were prompt to bring whatever we needed and made sure the coffee was always fresh. (one of my favorite things, fresh coffee). They were wonderful gals and the rooms was exceptionally clean. (Also, one of my favorite things) The rooms appeared to be updated and renewed from the dark colors the OLD Knights Inn used to have. This one was wonderful. I give it a plus for the price and we will definitely stay there again. Thanks Knights Inn Hospitality Staff you are wonderful...:D

Room Tip: I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. We had two double beds and it was more than...

Knights Inn talks about having the best rates in town, and while that may be true, you really are just getting what you pay for. Rooms are fine. They're clean, stocked, and the beds are comfortable. Location is fine- nothing shady in the least bit.

The breakfast was lacking when compared to other places I've stayed in. Cereal, instant oatmeal, and some bread and bagels, so that was disappointing.

The biggest issue for my sister and I was the temperature of the room. Granted, we like rooms cold in the summer, but this felt too hot for even average people. The control was fixed to 70, which is totally fine when it's during the day, but it's just too hot at night. We ended up opening the window to let some of the cool night air in, but it was still too warm.

But still, it does beat some of the prices of the other hotels in the area.
