“Really good food. Average atmosphere. Pretty view. ”

We dined here on a Sunday evening near closing time. Amazing filet and white fish special... Great service: our server placed his business card on our table (first time I've ever experienced that). Atmosphere was a little lacking due to not many other patrons. I had the cucumber gimlet, pretty average cocktail.

“Great Food, View, and Atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

Food was fantastic. Loved the crab cake for an appetizer. The Drinks were perfect. My husband said his steak was delicious and my shrimp dish (cajun) was very good too. Service was a bit slow, but we were NOT in a big hurry. Nice view of the water. The prices are very high, but we knew that was the case. I think it was a little over 120$ (with tip) for an appetizer, a drink each, and the entrees. This was an anniversary dinner so it was worth the splurge to us, but taking a family here on a budget, no way. Entrees don't come with soup or salad, you pay for those.

“Great Food - Great Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

About 2 miles out of Traverse City on M22. Right across from Grand Traverse Bay so had a great view. Ate on the patio even though it was a bit cool (70 and the sun was going down). Had the ribeye - great steak and wonderful mashed potatoes!!

“Delicious entrees after a slow start”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

We spent one night in TC so had just this one dinner. Although there were many locations to choose from, I was specifically seeking a place that would take a reservation, since it was Cherry Festival week. Overall we were pleased with the meal. It took too long to be acknowledged by our server, but once we were on her radar she proved to be very good and attentive. We enjoyed the walleye and whitefish, and our kids enjoyed the veal meatloaf and the cod. My mom and I shared a salad and the whitefish, and they were kind enough to deliver both on separate plates so that we didn't have to split things up ourselves (I don't know why, but I always think it's a nice touch when the kitchen does this for you). Nice view of the bay outside. The one downside is that this restaurant is quite loud, with high ceilings and all wood walls which just amplify the conversations of those around you; and we were there late enough that the dining room wasn't even full. Good meal, but if I were in the TC area for more than one night, I'd explore other places.
