We took our kids, ages four to ten, and they all had a great time. The trails were well marked which put everyone's mind at ease.

Very easy to get to and right inside of town, although you couldn't tell at all.

Trails were relatively easy (our four year old walked the entire time for two hours) although there were some stairs as well as wooden planks that covered marshy and water areas which may be difficult for some.

Had a great time and "getting away from the city" in the city!

Great trail to run on. Ran on it every day we were in Traverse City. It was easy to find, marked well. I did make one wrong turn when I missed a sign going from TART to Leelanau. I was looking at the ground for a marker, and missed the temporary sign that was there. It all worked out, since I knew where I was, but something to keep an eye out for.

Riding the TART trail from Traverse City to Sutton's Bay was one of the highlights of our weekend visit to Traverse City. The trail, which well marked and paved the entire way, follows beautiful gently rolling farm country. It was a very relaxing experience to be able to enjoy our ride without worrying about cars whizzing by. I wondered whether doing the trail round trip would be too much for me, so it's good to know there is a bus service that will bring you back. However, after a relaxing lunch in Sutton's Bay, I had no problem biking back to Traverse City.

The TART trail is a great trail for biking, running, or walking. In the city it runs along US 31 and offers a safe path without having to worry about all the automobile traffic.

Have been using the TART trail for 7 or 8 years now, and I'm always amazed at how great it is. Now that the part to Sutton's Bay is paved (and has a bus available to bring you back to the city), it's even better. Keep up the good work and looking forward to even more improvements!
