“Great two days of fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2008

We just took 4 girl scouts (ages 13-14) for an overnight., my kind of camping. Hotel Camping! We had 3 adults. We all had a wonderful time! The waterpark is excellent! The tube rides were so much fun, and the wave pool is also great! (they have plenty of life guard on duty, so you can feel secure if you have little kids)
Even the adults had as much fun as the kids did! I loved the bucket dump! We got there before our room was ready but we could go into the waterpark awhile. After checkout the next day we could stay in the waterpark. So we got two days of the hotel fun with one night's stay. The Magic Quest Game is really fun, we did adults against the kids, they have the advantage of running up and down the steps, but we adults had as much fun with the challenges as the kids did even if we didn't move as fast, and sometimes used the elevator!
The prices are high, the gift shop prices are very high, but you see this at any kind of big name park don't you?
Also, the girl scouts could earn a special Great Wolf Patch, which was fun and we all learned as they did the requirments.
The whole adventure is worth the money!
Go and have fun!

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge for 1 night and just loved it. My son enjoyed the waterpark with many things to do for young children. My 7 year old daughter loved playing Magiquest which is an interactive game for kids. You buy a magical wand and acitvate a game for it and the kids run around all over the hotel playing this game and it is alot of fun to do as a family. The Smore Fondue dessert is excellent there as well. It's alot of fun for a family to eat together.

the accomodations were nice, except they did not supply the needs for the number of people in our room. we didn't get our room till 6pm and had to be out at 11am. they would not grace any time, even though our room was way late. the water park was so-so. the whole paying ritz carlton prices for family amenities was rediculous.

Booked a lower level suite, when I checked in offered a upgrade for a extra $50.00 best move I ever did, received the top of the line myjestic room. This room is incredible. Prices were reasonable but bring your own alcohol beverages to cut costs. My son is 21months old and he had a ball on the kiddy slide and my wife and I had a ball on the big slides.(almost like a roller coaster) Hope this helps anyone we are planning another trip there in a couple of months.

We had a blast at the Great Wolf Lodge on February 21, 2008. The water slides were fabulous! The hotel is worth the money. We got the Wolf Den room and it was great! The arcade has lots of fun games! Camp Critter is a fancy restuarant with tasty food and the Loose Moose is a great place for breakfast. They also have a magical quest game for the kids and the emloyees are helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and we look forward to returning in September.

I have to say that I can't understand why anybody would not like this place. It is a kid friendly destination but my husband and I had just as much fun as our 4 kids! We loved the rooms, the atmosphere, food, and the pack members ( as they call themselves) were incredibly friendly!

The food was not horribly overpriced!!! The buffet was a little pricey as they always are, and we steer away from them as we can never eat the amount of food that would make it worth the price. However their full service restaurant was excellent all around and we fed our family of 6 as well as Grandma, with dessert for $79 ~ which included tax and tip!!! To me that is not outrageous! If you are worried about the food, pack a cooler. Each room has a small refrigerator and a microwave.

Also for the price that you pay to stay you get use of the waterpark for basically 2 days! That is a huge value to my family. When we go to other local water parks we will lay down at least $150 for our family and that is just for tickets in the door for 1 day! Now they price gauge you and you can't even bring in outside food at those places.

Great Wolf lets you bring your own food into the waterpark area as well. We brought all of our own snacks and drinks for the day!

On our second day in the water park the computer systems went down and instead of turning hungry customers away they just comped all of their food!!! One of the employees also paid for Tylenol for my sister who had a headache, since we were unable to charge to our room at the time!!!

If you are looking for a fun place to have some quality time with you kids, then this is the destination for you! I have to say that I could go on and on about how much we loved this place and enjoyed our stay! We will be going back very soon!!!!
