This is a beautifully renovated and furnished historic home is located in a beautiful residential area near the center of town. I had the room with the old drawings that were uncovered when the wall paper was removed. Simply very cozy. The hosts are great, helping you feel immediately at home. I visited during the cherry festival. The hosts showed me how to find it with a short walk. Breakfast was awesome, as the hosts satisfied my special request and provided fresh strawberries. I met two other guests at breakfast; enjoying a long and lingering conversation. I also enjoyed a pleasant evening on their front porch.

Beautiful evening for our short walk to downtown - loved the patio off our 2nd floor room. Bed was very firm and small for such a big room:(. Bathroom was nice:). Breakfast was very good, especially the local strawberries!

A friend and I went up for a quick overnight to visit others. She had not stayed at a B&B before. After her visit to the Wellington it made her want to try other B&Bs. Attention to detail is how I would describe the owners efforts in your experience. What I loved: huge porch for relaxing, location is superb for (walking) access to downtown TC, accessible and knowledgeable innkeepers, beer/wine/pop and treats in the community fridge for all to share, breakfast seating (you don't have to guess where you should sit), breakfast was delicious, beds were comfortable and rooms nicely furnished.

Took a few days away from the hustle of south east Michigan to enjoy the Traverse City area. We decided to stay at the B&B Wellington Inn. We have stayed there 2 previous times and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Barb and Hank do a tremendous job in making one feel welcomed and special. The breakfast we had each day was different and wonderful. Each room ( 9 in total ) are uniquely decorated and brings one back in time to the early 1900's. The Wellington Inn is located within walking distance of town and centrally located to drive any where in the area. Barb and Hank provide information on things to do and places to go. We have used their tips each time we have traveled to Traverse city and each tip has been brilliant. if you want to stay at a nice quiet, clean, beautifully appointed place with all the latest updates this is the one. Enjoy your stay
in time travel. Well worth your dollar!!!!

Room Tip: Go on line and check out each room or just call Barb. Each room is different and unique & takes...

We had a very nice stay at the Inn. The Inn is owned by a charming husband and wife team. On checked the wife gave us some ideas on what to do and see while in Traverse City. The room was nicely furnished and we had a balcony to seat out on which was very pleasant. In the morning the husband would play the piano in the parlour as a call to the excellent breakfast, nice touch. The Inn is very well located and it’s an easy walk to downtown and the many fine restaurants. We enjoyed are stay and would go back if we are every in Traverse city in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the balcony.

We messed up our reservations and were there a month early w/"no room in the inn!" Barb helped us find a room elsewhere for a night and welcomed us back the next day! The carriage apartment was perfect for 2 couples and the breakfast was outstanding! Location can't be beat!

Room Tip: Do the carriage house if 2 couples!

We loved this beautiful home. It is located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Barb and Barry were able to tell us lot of information about the town and restaurants. Very helpful. Fun to talk with the whole time. The B&B was great. the food was outstanding. Service very good. Loved being the ballroom on the 3rd floor with free snacks and beverages. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked great. Tv in room.
