“Missing Italian sole and hospitality and it's overpriced.”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 via mobile

Difficulty getting a reservation and surprised when arrived and waited and waited with no one greeting us to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant. Restaurant is pretty, stuffy and lacks personality. Food and wine are overpriced for what they deliver and how they execute it. Waiters are knowledgeable and polite but server assistants are clueless. In a restaurant with high ticket average one would think server assistants know what bread plate belongs to whom or when more bread or water is needed. Ingredients are high quality and fresh but unfortunately food lacks Italian character and favor. They missed too many details for me to go back again. The cost needs to match the experience

Reviewed 3 July 2014

Upon entering it's a beautiful establishment , but it is poorly ran under staffed and who seemed to be the manager was never smiling actually the only kind person was our hostess . Our food took for ever and it was under cooked when I made a comment about it they told me that is how it's suppose to be . Didn't finish my meal me and my husband will never go back , terrible experience , terrible management !!!!!!!

“Good food, small portions and very pricey”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

Four of us had the salt crusted Bronzino. It was average in size but the squiggle of beet mashed potatoes was tiny. The food was good but the portions small. This entree $35. Salads started at $9 and went to $12. A nice size but a lot of money for lettuce and a few garnishes. All of the second course dinners, which were the fish and meat, were from $35-$49. The first course dishes which were pasta were much less but not a dinner size portion. We all had dessert. We were still hungry from the small dinners but the dessert was small, too, and very ordinary. The service was very nice. The surroundings quiet and elegant. A musician played the violin and keyboard and it was very enjoyable. Probably not going back.

“Tri Monti over booked - under staffed - food great - service terrible”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

We were guests at a beautiful wedding at Tre Monti yesterday. The venue and garden are beautiful and it was an absolutely perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. Magical on so many levels... After the ceremony, we were sent to the porch for appetizers. It was very hot and everyone was thirsty and hungry. We stood in the heat and I only saw 3 servers for 50+ people. We each managed to be served a glass of mimosa, 2 pieces of cubed cheese and 2 delicious toasts with cheese and tomato -- over approx 90 minutes. TERRIBLE!!! Minutes before we were invited into the dining room for dinner, we saw plates of a steak appetizer coming out of the kitchen. Too late... Obviously, they were severely understaffed and unprepared. We asked for water several times and it took over 35 minutes to get it. We were invited into the dining room and did not receive a salad for almost an hour. Again it was delish!! During this time, no drink orders were taken Another 40 minutes later, we flagged down a waiter and ordered wine. The main entree came about 20 minutes later. It was spinach stuffed chicken with root vegetables and it was "divine". The bride was very upset because dessert was not plated and served - they were out of time and laid it all on a table. My husband saw a was a huge party (shower?) outside about the same size. In my humble opinion, Tre Monti was way under staffed for the 2 parties they were responsible for and for that reason
I would never recommend booking an event with them. Dining during normal hours should be ok as long as there are no other events at the same time.

“If You Are Willing To Pay For A Dinning Experience-This Is It.”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

There were 6 of us and the bill was $800 before the tip; $300 of that was drinks (4 glasses of Champagne, two cocktails and two bottles of $90 wine). Entrées are from $35-55 and with appetizers, salads and pasta in the $10-35 range. The service was near perfect as was the decor. Our dinner took 5 hours which was perfect for us due to catching up with old friends. This is the place for the way dinner should be enjoyed. Potions are not big so you will not fill up fast.

If you have the time and resources, this is a great place to enjoy a fine meal with good friends/family.

Only things that was bad: the light in the pergola were too bright and distracting to those looking in that direction.
