Kona offers a lot of dishes, most of them based on fish. There is also a sushi bar. Fish is fresh and excellent. I really enjoy the salmon salad or the tuna.
Best of all, the bar has a very nice crowd.

We were looking for something different after a matinee at Fisher Theater. It isn't exactly on the way home to Ann Arbor, but not that out of the way. Had res. thru OpenTable and they took good care of us, Liked the bar atmosphere very much. When sat, our knowledgeable waitress helped us navigate the exotic and lengthy menu. We were thrilled with every dish we tried! So fun and creative. Loved our experience, would eat there weekly if it wasn't so far away. Too bad there isn't one in Ann Arbor. I'm a good cook, but this is stuff that I don't venture to make in my own kitchen.

One in our party has been in 3 countries in 7 days, two of us are local, so we picked this place to try something new and based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor. While our backgrounds are all very different, we all found something wonderful to eat & drink. The Sam Adams Summer Ale is quite refreshing on a hot afternoon, and while it is Mother's Day, we were able to get seating quickly, and service was good, if just a little on the slow side. The Macadamia encrusted chicken, served with mashed potatoes and green beans is excellent! The grilled salmon with shrimp rice is also fantastic, and the Kona chopped salad with grilled chicken, honey balsamic and avocado is fresh, satisfying, not too heavy, and delicious.

All in all, will definitely be bringing clients and co-workers alike, along with family and friends to this place.

Great place with food for everyone. If you can't find something that you like here you are not trying very hard. The food is very good, the prices are OK and the service is good.

Absolutely love this place! Great atmosphere to conduct business in. The food is always good as well as the service. The restaurant is always full at lunch but they run like a well oiled machine getting the food out quickly. Key word for this place is they are always consistent and defiantly worth a visit.
