“A brilliant day with something to show for it”
Reviewed 22 February 2014

My girlfriend is a trinket collector. Basically anything shiny that may have a story to it goes! So, for her birthday I decided to take her somewhere we could make some trinkets of our own; Adam's introductory glass blowing course.

I think the best way to describe the course is rewarding. Each of the pieces that you make will reflect your personality. Be that through the shapes, colours or type of object, Adam asks what you'd like your piece to end up like and will then show you and then guide you through the seemingly unfathomable steps that resemble a tightly choreographed dance to produce the piece. It can almost feel like hard work due to the level of concentration required, but that just adds to the satisfaction after creating the unique items. We're both amazed and proud of what we managed to produce on the day.

Adam and is assistant Nicky were both patient teachers that clearly love what they do. It was fascinating and fun being their students for the morning and we can't wait to do it again!

“Brilliant”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

We visited Aaronson Noon for a company outing last week, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Adam and the team were incredibly nice, and excellent instructors. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone looking for a fun and rewarding activity. Thanks for a great morning.

“Addictive”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

We have been glassblowing students of Adam's for some years now. Adam is a very thoughtful teacher, and you can be guaranteed that whether you just go for a day's experience, or sign up for the longer term (it's addictive!) you'll come away with a heightened appreciation of the glassblowing art and also some work of which you can be truly proud.

“Excellent introduction to glass blowing”
Reviewed 24 August 2013 via mobile

My wife and I attended an introductory glassblowing course with Adam as instructor as an anniversary experience. Adam was a perfect teacher who explained everything clearly. The course was 3 hours in duration. During this time, we were provided with a full safety briefing, health and safety regulations, and produced three items. The location is in a nice quiet part of Surrey. The facilities are clean and modern. The studio is very warm given the need to keep the glass as a liquid. As such, shorts and a t-shirt would be ideal. Covered shoes are a must.

Ideal as a introduction to glass blowing and great for couples, in a quiet and secluded location. best of all you get to take home a few pieces after a couple of days.

We booked via phone and Jenny was superb at confirming everything.

“What fun!”
Reviewed 7 August 2013

I spent the afternoon with Adam making a number of pieces under his expert tuition. Whilst gaining an appreciation for how difficult this art form is, I really had so much fun in making a paper weight, goblet and free-form structure. Am definitely hooked and now want to sign-up for more classes...although might wait for cooler weather as it is really hot work.
