We camped at this township campground in August 2008.
Clean bathrooms - we saw extensive cleaning occur in the evening - I believe they clean twice a day. We did not shower, but the shower facilities looked clean as well.
Spacious sites - there was plenty of room on our site for our two cars and two tents with lots of room to spare.
They deliver firewood (not free) to your campsite. Also sell ice.
Staff is very attentive - clearing trash, cigarette butts, etc.
Boat launch onto beautiful Elk Lake.
If you have two adult couples sharing a site, you have to pay two camping fees plus two reservation fees. If the two adult couples choose to get two sites instead of one, same price. Crazy - should be some discount for sharing a site.
No beach. You can swim near the boat launch, but not recommended.
Map of sites makes it look like sites are far apart between loops when in fact they back up to each other. Not a big deal since sites are so large, but it would be nice if the map on their website was more accurate/realistic.
Staff does not enforce quiet hours.
This campground is mostly occupied by boaters with large campers (5th wheels, trailers, etc.) since the sites are so large. Very few tent campers although we had a good time tent camping.
