What a wonderful weekend we spent there with another couple. They stayed in the Baron Suite with beautiful antique furniture and a modern bath. We were in the Attic Suite with a very cozy feel of the pine wood and open bath. Vic and Anna were so nice you felt like you were with friends. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The evening deserts were outstanding. They made dinner reservations for us with directions. The stories about the house were amazing.

Room Tip: The Baron and Dr. Baert rooms are very nicely appointed with antiques and a touch of modern for the baths. The Attic was quiet, cozy, and open.

How do you describe in a few words an experience of warmth, charm, elegance, thoughtfulness, grace, peace and comfort topped off with some of the best food I've ever had? Vic and Anna are the perfect host and hostess. They made sure our every need was met and they did so with genuine, and I mean genuine, kindness. I feel like I have a home away from home and I can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Every room is unique and stunningly beautiful.

Owners, Anna and Vic, were friendly and made you feel more like family than guests!!!
Food was delicious and everything was homemade by Anna, the wonderful hostess.
House was renovated from the 1800s by the present owners.
Each crystal, plate, silverware has it's own story.
Furnishings were restored and work was done by the owner, Vic. Porch has plenty of sitting front and side to enjoy and relax. My husband's favorite part was to have his coffee at 730am on the porch and also in the evening there was dessert served (2 choices) and if not there, dessert was placed in the guestrooms.
Looking forward to our next visit!!! Thank you Anna & Vic for your hospitality!!!

My wife and I decided on the Baron Mansion for our 10 year anniversary trip and I'm glad we did. The home is immaculately clean and has beautifully restored antique furnishings. You really feel like you are in a stepping back in time. The owner have done a great job preserving and restoring the historical home. Anna provides a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning. Her and Vic are wonderful hosts! They made every effort to make sure we had what we needed. The town of Zeeland is a wonderful, quaint town with a vibrant little downtown area that is worth taking some time to explore (and it's within walking distance from the house). We will definately recommend this B&B to our family and friends.

Celebrated our one year wedding anniversary here. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Think they were a bit shocked by the fact that we were a gay couple, as they were very "Christian-like." Bibles were in abundance in our room, as were crosses. I respect that they are proud of their religion, but they should also keep respect towards their guests by realizing they may not share/support the same beliefs. This was not advertised as a religious based establishment, otherwise I would have likely looked elsewhere. In regards to the house itself, it was beautiful. The room we stayed in was the attic area. Very nice and cozy, but the bathing situation was a bit problematic. The room offered a bath tub with detachable shower hose. It is stationed in a corner with a slanted ceiling that's no more than 3 feet above the tub, making moving in and out difficult. Not really the owner's fault as this was probably the best they could do with the limited space....but still, hindered any chance of getting properly clean in a hurry. Overall, the owners did seem friendly and made sure we had everything we needed (they even provided us beach chairs to borrow when we informed them we were going to the beach by the Holland area.). I personally don't believe I would stay there again simply because of all the religious undertones present all around us while there, but for others who don't mind that, they would likely have a great stay.

Room Tip: Avoid the attic room.
