A fun stop on our trip out west. Statue is well-maintained. Close to I90. Stairs that you can climb for photo op.

“Ho Ho Ho :-)”
Reviewed 31 March 2014 via mobile

It's less than 2 miles off I-90 and just a fun thing to say you've seen and take a picture...and we stopped in a semi at night and it was well lite so no excuse not to...plus it's right behind a DQ

“Green Giant!”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

We read about the Giant online so decided to stop during our road trip. We had so much fun! There was construction going on when we went so we drove around a bit to find a way to get there around the road work. There is a cute little park with picnic tables and photo cutouts of the giant. We climbed the stairs behind the giant for a great photo op. Then we stopped at the DQ next door and grabbed some dinner. Great stop!

“The Giant's Valley is Blue”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

I really can't add to the preceding reviews accept to tell you that this was a high point of our trip to Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Mt Rushmore. Why you ask? The former were closed, this was open and it was very accessible from I-90. The JGG was wearing a orange smock to note anti-bullying week - nice touch. By the way, for factual reference, the..."valley of the Jolly Green Giant" is Blue Valley. Ho, ho, ho. I dare you to stand underneath him and NOT look up!
