...the golf course that is.
There are 2 courses here; a 9 hole and an 18 hole course. The 9 hole is a proper course with a couple of par 5s, so not a pitch and putt and the 18 hole course is a very long test of golf. It is pretty forgiving as long as you do not go wildly off the fairways where your ball will be eaten by the long grass and never seen again. Once you have completed the round there is a nice bar in which you can enjoy a well-earned refreshment with food if you like.
There is a practice bunker area, chipping area and also a large putting green which, unlike many clubs I have played at, actually represents what you are about to find on the actual course. The Pro-shop is well-stocked and you are served by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Also the changing rooms are large and modern.
Like a lot of venues they are catering for weddings and other parties these days and offer a large function room. Also they have recently added some wooden chalets for people to stay over if they wish...or need.
Great for a golfing away-break or a 27-hole society event.
