Had the Nick's Mess skillet, it was very tasty and made with quality veggies. Also had a breakfast plate, which was also excellent. Very nice sausage links. I would return!

I meet my sister and her husband for a bite to eat. We needed to meet somewhere that was halfway between Rochester and the cities. So we settled on Nick's Diner. I was pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere. The food was very good also. I would recommend going and visiting. Great meals, desserts and also malts!

Six of us ate breakfast at Nick's Diner last Saturday morning. We each ordered something different and nobody was disappointed in their meal. The service was great, the portions were generous and the prices were what we expected.....however, the noise level was almost unbearable. We wish we would have eaten outside.

Travelers along route 52 should plan a stop at Nick's Diner in quaint Canon Falls. The owners prepare routine diner food but with top quality ingredients (local sourced focus) and talented cooking skills way above the typical diner short order cook. Turkey club prepared with fresh roasted (no, not the deli roll stuff) turkey, served on delicious bread. Cheddar cheese burger and chips - high yum factor! Clean, efficient, and great food, can't Sk for much more when traveling or for those lucky enough to live nearby.

We arrived at Nicks about 1 PM on a Sunday. We had our choice of tables either inside or out. The food was very flavorful and well worth the price.

Unfortunately, the staff as a whole seemed a little tired or distracted. Our beverages (as well as other patrons around us) were not refilled. One of our side orders came out much later than the entrées we ordered. I had to remind our waitperson that it was missing. Another patron wanted pie and several staff passed by without asking if she needed help. I got the impression the brunch crowd had just left and the entire staff just wanted to wrap up for the day. Also note that the website says the restaurant is open till 3 pm but it does close at 2 PM sharp on weekends.
