Description: Premier restaurant, bar, and event venue located in Duluth, MN. Established in 1889, the original Clyde Iron Works was a steel foundry and manufacturer of heavy machinery, once instrumental in completing well-known projects such as the Panama Canal, Empire State Building and Golden Gate Bridge. Today, it serves as one of the top restaurant, bar and event venues in northern Minnesota — still honoring the American worker and Duluth's golden industrial age.

Great effort by management and wait staff. Great food served buffet style. Dining area arranged to allow participants to enjoy themselves. Would recommend for any large event. Thanks.

So excited to find this awesome venue. Very disappointed with service and food was just okay. Food took an hour and server was not attentive or friendly. Bummer!

Good food and great staff make this place. The foods are hand made and fresh with some real greats soups. Reasonable prices and some dishes you only find at this place make it fun. Friendly crowd and able to handle larger groups.

Love the look and the way they kept the original factory pieces! The atmosphere is great. There are at least 4 different venues and dining areas. Wood fired pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Prices are reasonable for drinks and food. Very industrial.
Caution....the sausage pizza is pretty spicey.

Let me say I’ve had fabulous food at the Clyde in the past. But the last 2 times it’s been a combination of things. From extremely slow service to burnt burgers. It’s disappointing when you invite people out to dinner, brag about how great a restaurant is and then watch everyone trying their best to choke down a dry burnt burger. 4 of our burgers were inedible. I sent mine back and they did bring a new one which was still burnt but edible. My friends enjoyed their fries but didn’t eat their burger. The other 2 entrees were average. Not sure if it was just a bad night or if the Clyde has gone down hill? But I love the vibe of this place. I love the history of the building and the music events. I’ll give the Clyde another visit and I hope it’s better because it’s a great place.
