We've been to the Boondocks outside diner, but had never been in the bar/restaurant. We went in since my daughter wanted chicken strips, and the diner didn't offer them. The place was clean, had a decent atmosphere, and the employees were nice. I thought it was odd that the waitress didn't know some things, like the soup of the day, but she was very good at checking on us and refilling drinks as needed. The only thing that bothered me was that someone was smoking on the bench right outside the door, and every time it was opened, cigarette smoke was sucked in. As for the food, other than the fries being way overdone, the food was good, but nothing special. I'm sure we'll try it again in the future.
