Owner description: Jim’s Apple Farm is family owned and operated. The family has lived and conducted business in Scott County dating back to the 1930’s. The retail site at 20430 Johnson Memorial Drive is supported by apple orchards and produce fields in Jordan and Belle Plaine. Jim’s Apple Farm is a family business that has been operating at its current location for 39 years. We are a seasonal business, open Mid-May through November, focusing on candy, apples, fall produce, baked goods, jigsaw puzzles and gift shop items. In addition to our own products, we offer many others that are raised or made locally by our neighbors. Phone Number Not Working.

Such a fun place to visit. Walls of different flavor pops, a small bakery with fresh pies and apple crisp, soups, dips, caramel apples, cheese, jerky, and of course, lots and lots of candy. My 6 year old was in heaven!

We happened upon this place in heading to Gustavus Adolphus college. The bright yellow "barn" was a must-stop on the way back home.
Inside it is wall-to-wall full of candy, candy, candy! More candy than we've ever seen before (and we've visited all kinds of candy stores around the US). Aisles and aisles of new candy and old-fashioned candy that you haven't seen since you were a kid! Lots of cutesie "art" in the aisles (my kid loved the vegetable and fruit heads bobbing up and down). And, just when you think you've seen it all---head over to the SODA aisles! Aisles and aisles of you-name it soda, including whole sections devoted to never-seen-before root beer.
Also in this place is a section where you will smell delicious home-baked pies and caramel apples. Soooo hard to resist. In fact, the sign out front says "resistance is futile" and that is the truth!

Grab the family, or just yourself, and head down and check this place out! You'll have something to post to your friends on Facebook and be uber-cool for a while.

This is a "Must Stop" kind of store, but plan on spending some time looking around then buying. They have quite an assortment of goodies...Way to many to list on here! My husband & I had fun finding things we used to buy as a kid.
Great place to bring the family...Heck Grandpa & Grandma too!
They do not take credit or debit cards for payment. Only cash or checks.
Seasonal operation...Check for hours.

This is a great place to stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop there. They have more candy than you can imagine - retro and current varieties. They also have tons of jigsaw puzzles, many types of soda pops, jams, jellies, honey, dry soups, etc. Outside they had squash, pumpkins, apples, etc. The biggest drawback is that they only take cash or checks - no credit cards.

Great place to stop and get old time candy and pop that you had when you were a kid. Kids will love this place.
